    Piebald question.

Experienced bp folks, please put my ignorance to rest! What in the heck does a good piebald look like? The more white, the more desireable? An equal 50/50????

It all depends on what you like. Me.. I like a nice 60/40 pied

I completely agree. It's all in what you like the most. I don't know too many people that like extremely low white pieds, but I'm sure you'll find a couple here and there. As with any morph you need to look for the animal that appeals to you the most, since you'll be the one looking at it while you clean up after it.

    Re: Piebald question.

You might even find your personal preference changes. At first I preferred pieds that were close to 50/50, and I also wanted the color to be evenly distributed. Incidentally, that is hard to find. They tend to have more white towards their tails and more color towards their heads.

However, I have found that the pattern within the colored part of a pied is really growing on me. And I don't mean that in that it is an acquired taste. I loved it to start out with and just am more and more in love with it. I think this extremely low white pied is one of the most beautiful pieds I have seen:

Not to say that I don't still like the 50/50 ones. I've just realized I'm going to need more than 1!

It's about what YOU like, personally I like 50/50 but I also like very low white ones.
