    rack and heating question

    I know there has been a lot of forums about this and a lot has helped me. I just bought a rack with 32qt tubs with belly heat and i bought a thermostat. i know where to place the probe at but what temp should i set it to so that my snake is at a good temp on top of his bedding.

    It depends. Get a infared heat gun, set the thermostat and measure the temps in the tub. Adjust the thermostat accordingly.

    If you have an RBI 32qt rack with belly heat and are using a Herpstat, set your initial temp at 105 degrees, and then monitor with a temp gun after an hour or so. Then, adjust up or down till you get the right temp in the tub. Please do this before you put your snake in the rack.
