Re: stubborn feeders!
Two weeks is really not much to worry about assuming all of your husbandry is correct.
Just keep checking his weight to make sure he is maintaining it.

Re: stubborn feeders!
A rundown would be better . There's a hidebox that doubles as a water bowl and a log. The hidebox fits him well and I keep my snakes in a secluded area. The temp is 84'F and the humidity is 56%

Re: stubborn feeders!
Seems like 84 is a good cool side temp.....your hot side should be 92-94 ish...this could be a possibility.....best of luck

Log as in a half log? Those are bad
Can you explain your hidebox that doubles as a waterbowl please? Maybe a pic?
A hidebox? Meaning only one? Your meant to have to hides for your BP
The temp is 84F? In the whole cage? There should be a heat gradient with a cool side around 80F and a warm side around 90F
Hope this will help and that your spider starts eating again

Re: stubborn feeders!
i have a two year old ball python and it stopped eating about two months ago. i have researched and came up with that this is a common time for pythons to stop eating and as long as it is not losing weight and looks akay-don't worry. also, some won't eat unless you feed live mice/rats-which are very difficult to find in my area

Re: stubborn feeders!
My small ball isn't eating again either. I figure it's the time of year. He last ate 2 weeks ago but only ate for two week after a month of fasting( so 2 feeds in 8 weeks)!
Too many pets to list!

Re: stubborn feeders!
The log is a place for him to climb around. The hidebox is under the waterbowl. i'll post the pic after I get home. The thing is, I live in the tropics. So additional heating is not necessary. The temperature fluctuates everyday as the sun moves.
