I finished my rat rack. I went from this

No more tanks and water bottles
Thanks to the pics Ralph Davis has on building this rack, it was not too bad.
Found these tubs for $3.59 or $3.19 ea. in lots of 12

My only issue with yours is the solid colored tubs?

I was hoping to use something semi transparent so I can check on the rats easier. I wonder if theres an advantage to black tubs?

Nice job. It looks great. I have built a few racks. I use cememt mixing tubs for the adults. Every now and then they will eat through. Are those tubs thicker than cement mixing tubs?

Rats like to be in the dark. Given a choice between a dark or light area, rats always prefer the dark. Less stress=happy rats.

good find on the tubs, i ordered a set of 12 the other day and built my rack. they are better priced and bigger than both the cat pans and the cement tubs. nice thick durable plastic.
