    rack setup ?

ok I got my rack set up but my house is only 62 degrees. It is a natures spirit rack with 2 rows of 11" heat tape. Will this bring the temps of the tubs up enough? If not what would be another option? Right now the heat has running for about two hours and it is only 70 on the hot side.

    Re: rack setup ?

As far as I know that's the problem with tubs. The best way to fix it is to get a heater.

It's near impossible to get the hot side up to 80* when the room temperatures are low 60s.

I don't have racks, but I'd just tape it. Or hot glue.

    Re: rack setup ?

This sucks. The flex watt hasn't gotten any hotter then 84. Am I doing something wrong? I mean how is flexwatt supposed to heat something to 92 when it doesn't get hotter then 84?

    Re: rack setup ?

it is back heat. The tubs are 28QT. I it 11" flex watt and 20 watts per ft. I think it may be working now. It is getting up to like 90. It has been on for about 8 hours. How long does it take to heat up. I still think it is too cold in my room for it to work though. The flex watt is 90 and the hot side of the tub is 80 and the cool side is 68. I might need to come up with some alternative heat for it. I currently have a room in my basement so I can keep the kids locked out. I might have to just move it to my bedroom and lock the door. Damn kids (for sale if anyone wants some)!
