Back Popping!
Hey guys i thought we could start a conversation ...about Back popping.
Poopsie sometimes likes to squeeze me wit alotta her might around my neck (I guess for digestion reasons?) but she was squeezing me and then her back popped and i thought it was so cute! Any body else got stories!?!

Re: Back Popping!
Their backbone is just like ours, it has the capability to 'pop' or crack just like any joint..
I've had unruly snakes that have flailed a bit and I felt some of their back re-adjust. I wouldn't recommend trying to do it on purpose or anything..

Re: Back Popping!
She squeezes because she's a constrictor. Nothing to do with "digestion".

Re: Back Popping!
she pops her own back....well i hope she squeezes me cause she likes me cause she squeezes my neck enough to about strangle me,but she quits. I mean if she wanted to eat me she wouldnt tried by now lol!

Re: Back Popping!
She squeezes you to get warmth from you and get a firm hold so she feels safe and won't fall. If she wanted to eat you she would strike and constrict.
As for the back popping, all of mine to it just about every time I pick them up, move them, or even when they are just sitting in their tanks.
