This is my first time posting on this forum; however, I think by now I've read half the threads.

My wife and I got two ball pythons in January - a female normal (Phantasia) and a male spider (8-Ball). Before we got them, there we're a lot of visits to this forum for information.

The girl settled in to a tank set-up no problem. She does normal ball python things - hiding and eating. He seemed pretty stressy in a tank set-up and wasn't eating. So back to the forum.

We moved him to a quieter, more stable tub. After a week - still stressy, not using hides, and still not eating. Back to the forum.

Changed the type of hides twice - he liked the flower pots - he settled down, but still wouldn't eat. Forum

Anyway, much to my relief, and after a lot of good information and some trial and error, HE ATE TONIGHT for the first time!!!

So a big THANKS to all the people on this forum who take the time to answer questions and share their knowledge. (couldn't help myself, I had to throw in a dancin' banana)
