If you are sure that they are cb and that they do not have IBD, then I don't see a problem with it.

I did not realize there was a link between IBD and being captive born or not. Is there?

I thought one of the scariest things about IBD is that boas can be carriers of it and not display symptoms, so a boa breeder could have it in their collection and never know. In that case, I would think it would be possible to get a captive bred boa from a reputable source, and still have it turn out to carry IBD.

I'll admit I haven't really researched this or paid a whole lot of attention to it since I don't have any boas nor plans to get one any time soon.

Does anyone know more about this?
