    The gas company has every right to demand you remove a potentially dangerous animal before the worker comes back in. To them your snake is dangerous, just like a snarling rottweiler or a caged bear.
    If you have a transport cage/bag etc.. then why not pack her up as if you're shipping her, and remove her either from the premises, or put her upsstairs somewhere out of the way? It wouldn't be for very long, and people ship giants without harm to them.
    It's a little inconvienant, but let's face it, not everyone wants to be reassured a 15 foot snake is harmless. Working with people instead of demanding they accept your pet is a much easier way to go.
