I agree, I think it looks more like a pastel lesser.

    Re: Pastave or Not?

so im confused...did you jus pull out 1100 and say here you go gimme a snake and he pulled into a unlabeled tub and said this is a mojave pastel, or pastave, and you not properly knowing how to identify it handed him the 1100, i mean i guess its a respected breeder from what these people are saying but it seems that when purchasing you didnt know. But it seems to me a lesser pastel would be worth more than a mojave pastel....so if it is a lesser pastel, which in my opinion im leaning more towards that than mojave, seems you got a gonga...then again do lesser pastels cost as much as mojave pastels even though lessers are eassily a good 300-500 dollars more, if not more than that. Not up to date on my lesser pricing but im pretty sure i seen one for 800 recently, and a niiiice mojave should max out around 400 for a male..

I did NOT buy the snake! I just took one (bad) picture of it because i thought it was pretty. There are a few people that say its a pastel lesser but wouldnt they cost WAY more that $1100? Also, I can't get a better picture because I saw it at an expo on sunday and theres no telling where that snake is now.

I think I saw a Pastave at their table at the NARBC show in Arlington,Tx.

I only spent a few minutes with them but they seemed like stand up guys that know their stuff.

    Hope this helps

Thats the thing its not a morph but a combo of morphs.
It is much easier to pick out a single morph than a combination of morphs. When you have combos there are always going to be variations as one morph can influence the look much stronger than the other. I can show you two different pics of the cinny/enchi combo that look completely different. There are also some mojaves that look alot like lessers and then when you combine them with pastels that influence can take over or be in the background.

The point is there are several variables that you are not taking into consideration when discussing combos. Not as simple as you may think because once again it is not a single morph(which can vary alot on its own) but a combination of morphs which can vary even more.

Maybe you should do some research instead of some wiseguy comments
