Re: Handling my new ball python - am I impatient or is this normal?

I read it over and over and over that you're not supposed to handle them for a week or whatever. I got my bp from a show that she wasn't really handled that much at but for me handling her before I said she was mine lol!! I did handle her a little too much for her first week and then it hit me like a load of bricks, no she didn't regurg her food or act skiddish, just realized that I shouldn't have been handling her. She is really an exceptional snake and sometimes I think it depends on the snake. However saying that, I don't recommend anyone else doing what I did cause all in all, it's best just to wait.

Congrats on the new baby and remember, patience is a virtue!!
