Because it is against their terms and conditions and if they feel it is a problem they might stop shipping any reptiles or exotics alltogether.
And that is assuming nothing goes wrong and ends up with escaped/ misdelivered snakes on the news giving those who want to ban or moderate the hobby even more ammunition.
And isn't there a law about shipping under false information?
