This might be a very odd question, but I was wondering if there's any relationship (prey/predator) between snakes and skunks? I'm asking because my dog got sprayed the other day, and I noticed a reaction from Delilah when she smelled it. She's never reacted to my dog before, but he came near her viv smelling like skunk & she tried to strike at him. Then she got snarky with me when I reached in to check the temps, and I'm sure my hands reeked after cleaning the dog. So I was just curious - do they recognize this smell, and would a skunk be prey or predator to them? Hopefully she'll settle down when the smell dies away!
