With the reputation they have any thing not on the up and up would be stupid.
I have yet to do business with them but I would not hesitate to believe what ever they tell me. If they told me snake "A" only throws off pieds no matter what you breed it too.. guess what I am buying snake "A"

I just wanted to clarify a bit, as you claim to be new to the board, and to the hobby from what I can gather. If you breed your male to 2 females, or even three, you are not going to get 50 eggs. Matter of fact, you stand a chance of getting no eggs. I just didn't want to see someone counting the eggs before they hatch (I know it is proverbial and a bit trite), but I just wanted to give you a heads up.
In reality, you will probably end up with two of three females laying eggs (based on average odds of many breeders), and about 6 eggs per clutch (again, based on average clutch sizes). Therefore, my guess would be that you would get between 11 and 14 eggs your first season.
I hope that helps, and I meant no offense if you already understand all of that,

i think what the poster you quoted Muddoc, means they will be making 50% hets, (pos hets) not 50 count snakes.

dude i didnt mean 50 eggs that would be rediculous. I meant that every baby would be 50 percent pos het burgundy, not 50 babies lol. I know that i would only get like 6 eggs from each female

Sounds like midwinter Brumation to me. if your temps are colder than they had at NERD they may think its breeding season, when it is common to go off of feed. Try raising your temps a little if they arent optimal. I'd talk to NERD and ask for some advice too.

I agree. They will still be the owners of the first Burgundy SuperPastel and I bet they are already working on getting some morphs ready to breed to it.
Now its all up to your hardwork and diligence to produce that new morph. Hopefully the morph gods smile on you and you get one in the first clutch.
Best of Luck!!! Post some pics of the parents and your pair for us to drool over!!!!!

No offense was intended. Just the way you wrote it, had me confused. I didn't want you to think you would get that many eggs. I'm glad to hear you have a good handle on the topic.
Good luck with your project.
