What is this ?
http://market.kingsnake.com/detail.php?cat=32&de=667718
saw these posted on kingsnake, andreally liked them? Are they special normal's? He called them CH stripers. I was expecting to see a genetic stripe or some kind of pinstripe, but found these. I like them though, just wondering if there offspring will have the reduced pattern as well.

look like normals to me . . . normals are normals unless u know the genes or prove them out to determine otherwise

Re: What is this ?
i agree, Normal. Especially at that price. i think they say striper due to the stripes. i mean, it's definatly not a pinstripe, but it's got a better stripe than some. i have a high gold normal that has a gorgeous stripe that does 8 or so inches at the tail. but it's still a normal.

Re: What is this ?
When it says CH and it's not a breeding size animal, it's unproven. This is a farmed animal, and you would not know the genetics of mom and pop, so you'd take your chances on the snake carrying a real gene to pass on.
If you like it, buy it. But it will be more of a dinker project, rather than a known genetic trait.

Re: What is this ?
"striper" simply is referencing the pattern on their back, they have only a few breaks in an almost complete back stripe.
"harlequin" BPs(from what I understand) are similar, seems to just be a neat pattern without a single mutated gene causing specific patterning/colorations.

On top of all of that Ed Clark is a scum bag you need to stear clear of him and any animal he has offered for sale.

Just a nice group of CH and if it crosses your mind to purchase animals from this seller I would highly recommend you to check the seller's rep on BOI http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...splay.php?f=13
