When trying to prove a dinker, what works best. Breeding them to a normal so you are sure that you can see ones that look like the dinker (IE if it proves dominent its either normals or dinkers) or breeding it to a morph so that if worst comes to worse you atleast have a few non-normals, but then it will be harder to tell if the dinker proves out?

Trying to get a bit of advice from people familiar with dinker projects XD
I breed most of my dinkers to a normal. If I have a dinker that looks like a certain morph (i.e. Yellow Belly), I will breed that dinker to a Yellow Belly.

Man I haven't asked a newb question in months....

I fell kinda silly, I understand it is a morph but what is a description of the pattern?

Dinkers are an unproven project that you are "dinkering around with". Seeing if the genetics will prove out, but not (or at least to me) expecting them to prove out.

They are usually normals with a bit (or lot) of aberrancy to them.
