    Super Ball

    Ball x Blood python:

Any thoughts? Has any one done this before? Do you know how to breed them together? I love the super ball and would love, later on, to make one. I'm looking for the basic things like what one should be female and what one should be male? Stuff like that.

    Re: Super Ball

Brian Barczyk has a couple of vids on them at snakebytes.tv

    My personal thoughts on it?

Because Ball Pythons and Blood Pythons live in completely different regions in the world, and thus they will never meet, I think it's wrong for them to reproduce. I don't have any "real" reason to backs this up. I just think it's going against nature and that we're already tampering with her enough.

    Re: Super Ball

I am with you I love super balls I wish I could get my hands on one the way I would figure would be a male ball and a female blood to make sure the female could handle the eggs but I am not sure so dont go on my word oh and as far as being against natureI just have two questions number 1 what about mules and donkeys and 2 if it was against nature it would require genetic altering to be done which it does not thus it is not against nature but thats just my opinion

    Re: Super Ball

Some of those F2 superballs are crazy looking, normally I'm not a fan of F2 and beyond hybrids but those are an exception for me.

    Re: Super Ball

I've seen one in person. They're neat that's for sure. But in the end, its a hybrid, and hybrids have no place in my collection.
