This is an interesting question. I have been to Israel but sadly did not see any herpetofauna when I was there (but I was only there a short time, and wasn't actively searching). When I think of field herping I think of places like Africa and Australia; I hadn't thought about Israeli herps. Please update the thread with any info you find.

These are some awesome pics of Israeli snakes (and these are also the same ones that don't download). And believe it or not, I can actually read the Hebrew responses.
