    Know anything about Israeli snakes?

Back in January I told the president of NOAH (Northern Ohio Association of Herpetologists) that I would make a presentation about the snakes of Israel. Thing is, I can't find anything about them! I've checked everywhere, and while I've found lots of good pictures on flickr (which don't download so I can't use them in a slideshow), I can't find any details about them. Do you know anything about the snakes of Israel? Or where I could find the information?

P.S. This isn't a husbandry topic. It's just about wildlife information.

Re: Know anything about Israeli snakes?

This is an interesting question. I have been to Israel but sadly did not see any herpetofauna when I was there (but I was only there a short time, and wasn't actively searching). When I think of field herping I think of places like Africa and Australia; I hadn't thought about Israeli herps. Please update the thread with any info you find.

These are some awesome pics of Israeli snakes (and these are also the same ones that don't download). And believe it or not, I can actually read the Hebrew responses.
