Question Just how blue do they get in shed?

Nearly had a heartattack. I went to feed my hondo and when I went back about 30 minutes later, he hadn't eaten. Totally out of character for this eating machine. I lifted his hide and he's gray blue. I thought he was dead, so gently prodded him just enough to get him to move. I covered him back up, took out the food (f/t) and came here. Is this normal? Do they really get that gray/blue? Nothing has changed, he was out roaming Thursday night. Do I need to mist the cage?
