I'm pretty much going cold turkey. I don't want to pay for nicotene gum and still be addicted to nicotene.

I was at about a pack a day, and I've been smoking since I was 12 so about 10 years.

    Today I alotted myself 7 cigarettes. I had 1 before work, one at 2 pm, 4 pm, 6 and 8. I've got 2 left. 1 for 10pm and 1 at 12.

Tomorrow, 7 again. Saturday 5 cigarettes. I can't decide on 5 again Sunday or 3 Sunday. Either way, I will no longer be smoking as of Monday.

My days off from work are Monday & Tuesday and I figure the first 2 days of NO smokes will be the worst. I don't want to kill any customers.

I'm doing well so far in that I haven't cheated, but damn I'm nic fitting like crazy already!!! I feel bipolar as hell!

I don't know what the point of my posting this is... I guess just venting about how badly I need a cigarette. lol

Wish me luck, share your stories, etc.

    Thanks

I am right there with ya! Sat. 2/7/2009 was my 1st day as a Non-Smoker! The 1st 3 days really sucked but now I am doin' pretty good, just a little anxious like I don't have enough to do...
The other good thing is I have been throwing $7 a day into a jar as a Snake/Fun savings instead of buying a pack a day.
