i see alot of questions about the substrate temp not being right while the temp on the glass is where the snake wont burn it self if if burrows.. so ill ask the question of what substrate lets the heat through to the top of the substrate or heats the substrate without having a temp on the glass of like 100f-110f? i dont want to hear people that have newspaper or papertowels.im talking about real substrate like bark, mulch, aspen and all the other ones. oh and will the temps change on both sides when you open the top. what i mean is if i open the top to use my temp gun will the temps be off because i opened the top and let cool air in? thanks

i hope this can help clear up the questions about temps on the glass are 95f and the top of the subtrates are 78f-80f.
