I am SO sorry about the avatar blurp! I swear I checked into that months ago to make sure current users would not lose their custom avatars...they just wouldn't be able to upload new ones. But whatever I tested, I must have messed up on because when it was put into practice.....well, y'all saw what happened.
Some Registered Users were able to keep theirs because the QT usergroup has different permission settings. But anyone not signed up for QT lost their avatar.
SO....long-story-short....I'm restoring everyone's avatars and removing the option of Custom Avatars as one of our perks. You can upgrade for larger avatars...but ANYone registering for BP.net will continue to be able to upload their own favorite avis.....so long as they don't violate any of our rules or standards.
