Is it still early, or did I do something wrong?

I've had my pastel and normal together since mid-december, and I've witnessed about 10 locks, but there were probably more I didn't notice.

The couple weeks they would be breeding almost every time I opened their tub, then they kind-of started to slow down. Now the female refuses to breed and I've witnessed no signs of ovulation . She has shed twice since I've introduced them. I'm not so sure about follicles because last year I never even noticed any follicles and she ovulated and laid a fertile 8-egg clutch!

Is there still time or did I mess up?
