When I picked up Ocho, the petshop owner already had most of the things I would need for the housing set out and ready to go. The substrate was some kind of repti-bark that is said to be "snake-safe"...my only problem was that it seemed to be holding WAY too much humidity. The inside walls of the sterlite container were actually fogging up and dripping. I waited two days after she had eaten to pull her out and switch the substrate. I changed it out for some good ol' newspaper. I see alot of people on here using that, and thought it to be an economical way to go...especially since I am not too worried about "displaying" her at this point. Comments? Criticism? I like it all so let me know what you think...Thanks!
