We got up at 4am this morning and drove a total of 12 hours there and back to pick up our beautiful and final addition to our family! She's GORGEOUS!!! I couldn't be happier and she seems to be enjoying herself chasing the kitties, getting whacked, bouncing around, and running awayShe's a kill.
Oh, and yes she is cropped and docked. I purchased her this way from the breeder because that's the way I want my Dobie to look. She's AKC registered and has an open registration. I hope to get involved in a little showing some dayWe'll see how her conformation plays out. Her grandpa is a European triple international champion, but her mother and father weren't shown, so we'll see how she does. If all else fails we'll get involved in agility when she turns 2.
Without further a due here's my beautiful Athena (Goddess of war and justice).
With her new toy, a dobermanWe need to tape its' ears so it looks like her
Luna watching Athena nose around the kitty food. Athena has never seen cats before but she absolutely loves them. If they stop hitting her long enough to sneak a kiss in she goes nuts and bounces around the houseShe doesn't even care if they scratch her she just bounces off and plays with something else.
I can't believe how muscular she is already!
