Hello ,
First of all i hope everyone is having a good christmas
Now im thinking of picking up a new ball python as i only have two normal females at the moment and i am wanting to get a few more adult females together and a few different morphs . Now i was thinking today and decided i wanted to treat myself and i thought a new ball python was in store , now i am wanting to start breeding and soon i will have a nice amount of money to throw down on these beautiful animals and be able to make some of the amazing morphs that are out there but until i have the money that im waiting for i thought id pick something up to get me started and that would be a spider male .
The spider is 500g and hopefully soon enough would be ok for breeding but the added extra on the spider is he is 50%het for albino . Now for me the het part is not a big deal just a nice added extra shall i say but this is my question .. What would i get if i put the spider to these two animal's .. first animal .. albino and 2nd normal female?
I no spiders are dominant so with a normal female id get some spiders and normal's , but would they be possible hets as well? as the spider is 50%het .
With a albino id be guessing id get spiders that are pos het for albino but would the het be 66% or am i way off the mark?
If put to albino i need to keep the females and breed back to try and prove them out that correct?
To be honest the het part is just a bonus for me but id be interested to find out what i would get .
Thanks
BB
