I just had surgery the day before Thanksgiving. (I'm doing quite well) and this weekend a group of my girl friends came over to see me. They asked to see the snakes, so my husband started pulling them out. He got out our male Suriname red tail, who behaved himself very well but I think was nervous about the number of people, then Samamtha our female Columbian, then a couple of the corns, and then a couple of the corn hatchlings.
Then he pulled out Dax, our adult male BP. My young friend Allison fell in love and kept saying how beautiful he was, and asked if she could hold him. Dax loves to be held so he happily sat in a loose coil in her hands, and then later wrapped himself around one of her wrists. She was in heaven, stroking him and admiring everything about him, and he, of course, was just as happy as she was. She finally allowed him to go back into his home.
She told me she wants a BP and wants us to help her get one, she is going to wait until spring because she is doing a little traveling this winter, but she wants help getting a baby from a good source come spring. I promised to turn her onto this site, let her get talk to some people here, and then help her if she doesn't change her mind come spring.
