So yeah, I got married...last month, Oct 10. I know it's taken me a long time to post, but I had a lot of work when I got back, and we had to wait for the photographers pictures to come back and all that.
We got married down by the bay, and went to Yosemite National Park for the honeymoon. It was a pretty small wedding overall. We both wanted the ceremony to be just a few of our closest friends and relatives and have everybody go to the reception, but then all of her aunts started complaining that they deserved to be at the ceremony because they were from out of town, so then we had to include my aunts..... It got a little bigger than we had hoped, but it was still great!
We've been together since high school, 9 years now. She's awesome! The love of my life - Kim!
This is my wife - Kimberly, my friend who married us - Josh, and myself (Tony!). I've known Josh since first grade, and he actually met Kim before I did because they had a class together. I ended up meeting Kim through another friend though...wierd.
Yosemite is AWESOME! We didn't actually stay INSIDE the park, we rented a little cabin-thing a few miles out.
The Love Shack
Satelite TV! I got to watch The Chargers win! We stomped them. Look carefully, you can see the score... And we still had the ball! Go Chargers
Look at the baby deer! awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
Found this ugly crawdad thing. That thing swam super-fast...backwards! It was funny looking.
a "controlled fire" - still scary though..they had signs all over the place saying "controlled fire, please do not call Emergency Services"
oh yeah! We got her a DSLR camera. I'll be posting pictures that are in focus soon!
Spider hole!
The highlight of my trip right here! I'm facinated by tarantulas! She hates them, and won't let me have one until we have a garage to keep it in. She's a bummer like that sometimes.
Anyways, October is mating season for these guys, so they're out and about more often. I found this one walking across the road on the last day we were there - on our first day there the guy told us about the mating season thing, so the entire time I kept my eyes peeled for a spider...didn't get lucky until the final day! Almost makes up for not seeing any snakes![]()
