I have seen Albino Balls that have been High Contrast and I have seen them Low Contrast but I have never seen one as Low Contrast as the one I just hatched out. When I first cut all of the eggs after the first one of the clutch had pipped I couldn’t see any color on this one. At first I thought it was a very high white Pied or something. I took some pictures of her in the egg and in the pictures I could see the very light color. This was the first year that I had hatched out anything of note from this breeding. It was a pair of Het Albinos I purchased back in 2002. The first year I got six eggs with no Albinos. The second year I got five eggs but they all went bad. This year was another six eggs and the lone Albino was produced. I have terrible odds with recessive morphs.Luckily I have been very fortunate with the Co-Dom morphs.

Well here she is my new Very Low Contrast Albino.
Once again the pictures show much more color on her than you can see with the naked eye. She looks a lot lighter in person. I am not really sure what to think of her. Part of me thinks she is really unique and cool looking (she almost looks like a Crystal), and part of me is disappointed that she isn’t High Contrast. What does everyone else think?
