I've been reading up the last few months and have finally decided to try breeding balls this season . I have a '99 Normal male "Rogue" that i rescued awhile back. Hes just over 4 feet long and last i weighed him he was a little over 1500g. Over the weekend I picked up a beautiful '06 female. I think i got a good deal on her, talked him down to 110. She was captive hatched and raised but her mom was wild caught. So I guess she would be considered an F1. Shes got some killer yellow on her sides and really cool pattern. Ive named her "Juno".

I put her in Rogue's tank the night I got her just to see what would happen. Sure enough he started courting her right away! The next morning I checked on them and opened up his tub to see a perfect lock!! I didnt even know it could all happen that fast lol. Anyway, I left them together for two days, and witnessed multiple good locks .

Took her out today to give a small rat just because Iv'e got no clue the last time she was fed.

Thats actually one thing I need to do some more reading on. Do you not feed females much if any during the season??

Either way I'm looking forward to watching them together for the next few months to see what happens! Not expecting a huge clutch because shes only 1200g's, but they will make some beautiful normals none the less.

Any advice will be appreciated.

And ill be sure to get some picks of them both up soon, hopefully I can catch them in a visible lock again
