Please help!
Yes, I am dutifully ashamed... my Fluffy got where he shouldn't have, and I can't get him out without a crowbar and serious destruction of my apartment. In making the decision whether or not to tear apart my place, I'd like someone else's knowledgeable opinion on my situation.
Fluffy is under my kitchen cabinets. On the other side of the cabinets is the bathroom wall, with a radiator up against it, hopefully providing him some warmth. Near the hole he slithered into, I have set up his heat lamp, trying to lure him back out with a basking spot. He's definitely under there, because I've seen him poke his head out, but I fear that if he doesn't come out soon the cold floor with lower his temperature to the point that he'll be too inactive to choose to leave. I've put a thermometer on the floor to try to find what that temperature must be, and it seems to stay only just above 60F. With his heat lamp, I've heated it up to about 80F. Can I trust his heat pits to guide him, or should I get ready to lose my security deposit?
