Matthew and I finally got married. We are SO happy, and the kids seem thrilled too (never a sure thing with 2nd marriages).

We had a very small private ceremony... just us, my daughter, and his daughter. The girls were very involved every step of the way, from picking out my engagement ring to us saying vows to them as well as to each other during the ceremony, which was very important to us.

Afterwards, we went out to dinner at the Melting Pot. We thought it was a good balance between fancy & special, yet still fun for the kids. If you've never been to that restaurant, you should try it. It was FABULOUS!

Did I mention how very happy I am?
