Here are our two new leopard gecko females. My wife picked one of them up at daytona, and one up at the raleigh show this past sunday. I got them settled into their new home and took a few pictures. I have a few questions for anyone who's a bit more experienced with these cute little critters.

I currently have a hide on both sides of the cage, I've noticed two of them in the same hide together. Do I need to put 2 hides for each leo in the or are the hides fine as long as they fit in there together?

Secondly, I know everyone is against loose substrate and that's why I have them on brown craft paper, but I was curious, if I was to take the Coconut husk bricks and compress the substrate by placing books with bricks on top of them on the substrate so it compacted it down do you think that would be ok? We've got these two in a display tank and I have to admit with the natural hides, climbs, and bowls the paper looks silly. If not we're ok with that two and have started looking into building a rock structure base.

Thirdly my wife picked these two up, not me and I know very little about leopard geckos. The first one was sold to us as a high yellow female and the second was sold to us as a tangerine dorsal stripe? I tried finding the morphs on the gecko-wiki site and I found the high yellow and that female we got in daytona looks to be exactly that, I didn't find any information on dorsal stripes at all let alone tangerine dorsal stripes. So I was just curious as we got incredible deals on each of them so even if they turned out to be normals we still got a good deal. What morph/phase are our leos?

Thanks in advance!
