Don't really apply it- just rub it into the wound; India ink stains like none other. I spilled some once on my parents living room Oriental rug and got into major trouble because I ruined their million dollar rug. Go figure!

Hmmm...will remember that. I used to have a tattoo gun years ago for the rescue puppies (still have it but no need now). Though realistically I guess most bites probably are not as aesthetically pleasing as one would prefer (its not like the HBO series Rome, awesome series, worth renting, okay way off topic nevermind).
