Ok, totally new to the site. Unsure if I'm posting right, but I need help. I have a female ball python, about 8 months, and a male burmese, maybe 2 to 3 months. My female is really calm and sweet, very tolerant of most people and other snakes. My burmese is fine with my ball python (he's crawled around her backside a few times), but I've never let her head get close to him for fear of striking. She was grumpy when I got him do to hunger, so I didn't introduce them then. I don't know if I can introduce them now. They're both too small for me to tie their mouths shut for a moment, without struggle or some help from someone. I introduced them through the glass but the burmese didn't know how to look through it and the ball was quite interested. What do you think? Should I leave them separate, or see if the ball will tolerate the burmese while they are still similar in size?
