My brother in law tried his hand at breeding this year. He bred what I seriously think was a too-small female to a good-sized male. She had 5 slugs, and 2 eggs. Now, we went and candled the eggs, and they have No visible veins at all inside. But they do appear to have something inside at the bottom. I am really thinking "infertile" on this one.. your thoughts? He was pretty ignorant IMO breeding this female (who is maybe 900-grams but was Not up to girth/weight size in relation to her length by my standards.) I personally think that he got what he deserved if the eggs are not fertile.. but whaddaya think? He has been incubating them for about 10 days and they are not rotting.
