i worry too much.
ok everyone, sorry for the questions. im trying to gain as much knowledge as possible.
anyways, ive had my bp for over a week now. he seemed to be doing fine and then he went into shed yesterday afternoon.
i was having humidity problems so the shed wasnt coming off that well.
this morning i went to check his temps and everything and he was out wandering around at 7 a.m.
i was confused, and the first thing i thought that it might be a sign of stress and that hes uncomfortable. then i thought maybe its normal since hes shedding and trying to get the old skin off.
i got home from school and he was in his hide. I moved it to see how his skin was doing an he still had a lot of pieces so i decided to soak him.
i soaked him for 45 minutes and got quite a bit of skin off of him. The whole time he was soaking he had his head pushed against the top of the container depseratly trying to escape. he def. didnt want to be in there. is this because he wasnt used to it and didnt know what was going on?
he still has some stuck shed so i planned on doing this again tommorow. do you think this would be okay or not?
also the whole time i was holding him and letting him crawl throught the towel to get the skin off he was trying to get away, and he was moving pretty fast.
when i put him in his cage he tried finding a way out for like 20 minutes then i think he gave up and is now laying around his cage.
i just want to do what i can to keep him stress-free. so what im aksing is to just give me some feedback and let me know how im doing so i have an idea on what i need to change.
thanks,
ethan.
SORRY SO LONGGG!!
