My second clutch was laid this morning from one of my favorite but equally frustrating ball pythons. She is a nice 04 CH but she has been a very slow grower. I have had to have a patient attitude with her and just offer her food and if she feeds then great, if not then just offer again another time. Weighing just barely 1000 grams at the start of the breeding season I didn't have high hopes of getting much out of her but I really wanted to match her up with my yellowbelly male as another little dinkin' project. Well, she rewarded me with 4 beautifully fertile eggs and I couldn't be more proud of her.

"Ummm.....you can try to get these eggs, but I ain't gonna make it easy on ya!"

Ready to be cooked and not a drop of blood shed....SWEET.

A photo from several months ago showing her high yellow color.

Belly shot

Well chondro eggs are up next and I have a feeling blood will be shed trying to get those eggs. I gave my female GTP the name "Killer" for a reason, OUCH!
