I admit, the fact that they are now 48 hours overdue has troubled me, but in my own defense I have resisted the urge to succumb to my now stage 2 ECD until now.

Fatty McFats was not wiggling when I spotlighted him yesterday (although everyone else was) and his egg was still suspicious round and voluptuous. I would go so far as to say it was turgid. Not a good sign at this stage in the game, but everyone else was good, so I slept on it.

This morning, I again check them for movement and McFats hasn't shifted a cm. Now, I worry. These kids have been wigglers from day 1. Mcfats being lazy is very suspicious. I decide to peek.

Damn You Joe!!!!

Little McFats is fine, of course, and still sleeping it off. He was not pleased at the skylight I put in. I suspect his egg was not caving in because his overly large body leaves very little room. He is definitely living up to his name. Now back to your regularly scheduled waiting.

Cheers,
