    Question Feeding Question

This is my second BP The other I had for about 13 years and this one only about 1. I tried today to feed him a frozen rat but with no luck. I have never tried frozen before. The reason that I switched is do to in part of my BP safety. This one is MUCH bigger than my first so I have to feed him either Med. or Large rats and have had a couple of close calls as he has almost getting bit. Anyway I let it sit out for a while and then under a heat lamp for about 10 min. The snake was in the tub with it for about 30 min and seemed interested but did not partake. So I took them both out and the rat was still a little "chilly". Was this the only prob. or can I do something more to help this transition? Any info will be much appreciated. TY and happy feeding! lol
