Well, this girl is 4 days overdue (well actually 3 years overdue). We got this 7 year old girl almost four years ago, and she finally decided that she was ready to breed this year. Believe it or not, I bought this girl with one other, and the guy shipped them to me through the USPS. They were in the box for 48 hours, and were covered in mites. It has been a long road, but she finally acclimated.

She laid 8 beautiful eggs that weighed in 816.2 grams. She was bred by our original Spider male. Here's too a nice bunch of Spiders.

I actually had palpated 8 follicles, but when I pulled the girl, she was only on 7 eggs. So, in the pic, she is only coiled on 7 eggs. One egg was very soft and somewhat waxy. Dumb me didn't realize that she had just laid it. Well, I pulled her (and forgot to check her for more eggs) and put her in another tub so that I could check the eggs and set them up. I went inside to the incubator, and did some work on the computer. Well I went back out to clean her and her tub, and low and behold, she was wrapped around the water bowl with another egg smashed between her and what she believed was her clutch of eggs (the water bowl). Lesson known, but revisited: Check to make sure your female is empty before you put her away.

Here's the pic, sorry for all of my babble.
