Please forgive the rant...

This is just my 2 cents....

I thing think the whole live chat, advanced husbandry thing is a BAD IDEA.

I am sure there are MANY! new bees out there that want instant answers to their questions. They spent some money, did some reading, and are ready to spend more money. they want answers NOW...

Well,

I think live chat is the WRONG THNIG TO DO. Please let me explain.

While I have had reptiles and especially snakes for many years, I am RELATIVELY still new to Ball Pythons. a few months ago I was ready to explain to any newbee that wanted to listen what the right way was.... Well, the fact is, i have since found out that a few months into it i didn't know anything.

The problem with live chat is that a new bee asks a question... gets and answer.. then goes with it.... Problem is, 10 minutes after they log off, it is pointed out that the respondent was WRONG.

I think the traditional forum type setting.... that takes a little longer for a response.... is the way to go. There is time for the "pro's" to correct the intermediate on their advice.

Just my 2 cents.... Get rid of the live chat crap.... until you reach the point where there is a "life guard" constantly monitoring it... to keep the kids that can't swim off the rope.. stick to the forums!

Please respond with what you think.
