My friend is a member of your forum (he has several snakes) and has told me that many people that take up your hobby are often victims of online scam artists. As a result I thought you might enjoy seeing how (for lack of a better term) hard one of these scum bags is getting owned by some very caring, and tightly knit, members of a car enthusiast forum.
The following link will take you to a website called
svt performance. There a man, who is a Law Enforcement Official
(L.E.O) was scammed by a man named Charles Ruffin. To make a long story
Short, a member of the forum (also a L.E.O.) discovered that he (the scam artist) lived in VERY close proximity to him. As a result pictures of the scam artist’s house were posted on the forum. Along with his phone number, e-mail address, myspace page, TWO profiles on dating websites, and the fact that he has an outstanding warrant. The authorities were subsequently notified on the location of the scam artist. I won’t spoil what else happened but let’s just say that he will likely soon become very good friends with a guy named Bubba.
