This weekend, I am getting a 4.5-odd-cubic foot, refridgerator for an incubator. I have 3' of Flexwatt that'll cover the back from top to bottom, and my Helix is just sitting here waiting. The unit has shelves that I will fit my 3 to 4 egg boxes in. I plan on adding the pop bottles of water to takeup space, etc.
Should I get a fan? Do I have to? I had no need for one in my 2-cube styro incubator last year, but I don't want to overdo it and have a huge ton of turbulence in there that might possibly vibrate or stress the eggs. Your thoughts??
Also! Do you have someone drain/remove the freon from your old fridges/freezers for incubating?
