How scary. Its been on the news this morning. They found an erratic teenager in the parking lot with a Shotgun in plain view. He was reported missing early this morning by his mom, and that he was acting "eratic".

When I was a Junior we were evacuated for a bomb threat. It was very scary.

Now I live in a small town, not too small, but well its a lot smaller than Boise Id. This is happening so frequently here and in the Spokane area. What the heck is with kids today? I just don't understand it. At least once a week there is a lockdown, or threat somewhere.

I guess I just don't understand the need for violence.
My children are 3 and 4. I am terrified to send them off to school, and every time something like this occurs my anxiety gets worse.

It almost seems as though we need better school security than we do national security Kids are supposed to feel safe at school, and learn with out the constant fear of something horrible happening.

Sorry just had to rant a little.
