We are faced with a decision. Aurora (the Australian shepard mix we have been baby sitting for almost a month) has gotten out of hand. We can't keep her anymore. She is tearing up the apartment, digging in what little yard I have, ect. She has attempted to bite me (not sure if it was play or serious) on numerous occasions. Taking her out to the bathroom is a big ordeal as we have to use a leash and she constantly tugs on the leash. I have bad wrists so the constant tugging, yanking, running around, ect is making my wrists worse.

In all honesty, we just can't keep her in anymore. I've gotten the go ahead from my cousin to find her a new home since there is no way he can come and get her. (He's in Arizona) We have called the SPCA and finally got an answer concerning getting an appointment to hopefully have her taken in there. We won't get an appointment till the 8th and even then, they might not take her.

So we are faced with a bit of a dilemma. Do we keep her till the 8th and wait for the appointment only to have a 50% chance of having her taken in or do we find another shelter and take her there tomorrow?

What would you do. Take into consideration that this dog makes life a living hell. I have not been able to keep my kitchen clean in over two weeks. She pees on everything. She is also not vaccinated and so poses a risk to our other animals (mainly our ferret who has not been vaccinated yet)
