I am doing a school project, and I had to choose a contemporary issue. So, I decided to do, Ban on Reptiles. I am doing a video, and having it set up like a newscast on why there shouldn't be a ban.

So here are some points I came up with:
- Pet Stores/Internet giving out false information to buyers, causing them to be uninformed buyers, who do not know the proper care/size and whatnot of the animal. (one cause of the bans)
- Reptiles do make good pets/ are friendly (i will show my snakes and lizards for examples)
- Some people can only have reptiles (like me, allergic to everything with hair/fur.)
- Some Irresponsible People ruin it for people who take good care of their pets.

For a settlement between the two sides:
- Restrict who can own reptiles. (Licenses); would have to show proof of proper care, caging, and feeding techniques. (Possibly taking a [general] knowledge test on the species of reptile applying for.?.)

These are just rough ideas, I have come up with so far. Does anyone have any more ideas I could put into this video? Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

This video is going to be shown on local television on our school channel, so I need to make it good, with valid points.
