Happy Yule everyone

Our 4 new snake additions and our new fur kid are doing well.

Rosie our baby Royal Python is growing fast. I think she's going to be a big girl

Sally our Cali Kingsnake is also growing fast and is now on fuzzy mice

Joe our Pinesnake/Bullsnake X is growing at an amazing rate. We've had to put him in a bigger viv. He's really friendly and gentle. He bumps the side of the viv with his nose when he wants out then will happily explore all round you, inside your shirt, pop out the sleeve, neck etc. He's quite a character and absolutely gorgeous

Barney our adopted Cornsnake is on a diet because he was way too fat. He's settled in really well and is also very friendly

Of the fur kids. Our rescue German Shepherd, Max has settled in really well and is learning not to chase cats. We've had him 4 months now and he's a joy to have as part of our family. He's a proper "Mummy's Boy" though LOL and never leaves my side. He even comes to work with me sometimes

We still miss our GSD, Sadie who passed away in September due to a tumour and old age. She was a lovely, friendly girl who we will always have a special place in our hearts for. She too was a rescue. It seemed right and fitting that we should give a home to another rescue dog and so Max came into our lives and hearts. He's somewhere between a year and 18 months old and his previous owners had just dumped him to fend for himself:cens0r:

Fortunately, he was found by a member of the public and taken to rescue kennels before he ended up being killed on the road. He loves going for long walks and playing with his ball or Frisbee. He has one toy he loves - his Kong. He has also shown a talent for finding things. I put him out of the room, hide his Kong then tell him to "Go Find". He'll track everywhere I've been until he finds the Kong. After the New Year we're enrolling him in dog training classes (obedience first) then I'm hoping to have him taught properly to track.

All in all life is hectic just now, hence I haven't been posting lately (sorry).

I'm on holiday from work until the 2nd January so will take new pics of our scale kids and fur kids and post them soon.
