I recently decided to start up a small breeding project so I bought 3 small adult female mice and 1 male from a different store (to avoid inbreeding). I've been keeping the females separate from the male to mature before I introduced them. Well yesterday i finally put them all together and they seemed to get along except for one of the females. I noticed that whenever my male tried to get close to her she would start biting him. I have her by herself now and the other two females aren't giving me any trouble at all. So my question is - should I just feed her off? or is there a chance that she's just giving the "new guy" a hard time and will eventually settle down? 1.2 breeders wouldn't be a problem considering I only have 6 snakes to feed but I'd like to know for future reference so I don't end up with any dead breeders. Any info would be greatly appreciated
