well I woke up this morning at 3 oclock and heard some little squeeks. Turn on the lights and "VOILA" 4 baby rats. 2 alive, 1 dead, and one in pieces (sorry to be so graphic).
The male was still in the cage and that is probably why mom was killing them I'm assuming.
So I stuck my hand in to take Dad away to a new cage and "WHAM" I got bit for the first time. Kinda hurt a little eh!
anyway I went back to bed, and when I woke-up mom had a grand total of 11 baby rats! good thing I got the male out when I did!!!

anyway my problem is that I'm moving to a house in probably 2 weeks... It is below zero celcius now and then here... how should I go about taking mom and the babies to the new house? Should I leave them all in the cage and carry them over like that (with a towel as cover from the cold) or should I split them up and take them to the new house seperatly?!

Any suggestions??
